Monte Sano State Park
Monte Sano, Spanish for “Mountain of Health,” rises more than 1,600 feet above sea level. The park offers over 20 miles of hiking trails and over 14 miles of challenging bike trails. The park also features campsites and cabins for lodging. Volunteer opportunities such as painting picnic tables and signage, racking leaves, clearing brush from hiking trails, etc. are available for groups.
